The donkeys mouth and teeth grab the cap and when it is lifted up it removes the bottle cap. Retains its original painted surface. Measure three and three quarters inches high. The wire was put in the hole on the side and the machine would tell you how many feet in lengths of ten, one hundred, one thousand and ten thousand. The face is solid brass and the case cast iron.
