Carved wooden Male figural mold 18th century

This antique European carved wood mold measures 8 inches wide, 23 and one half inches long, and one and one half inches thick. This mold is quite beautiful, and is in excellent condition. This carved wood mold is not American,most probably either German or Scandinavian.This wooden mold dates from the late 18th century.

English Lignum Vitae Mortar and Pestle c1800

English Lignum Vitae Mortar and Pestle c1800. This early English "lignum Vitae" mortar and pestle has a tapering cylindrical with relief and incised rings. Height 8 inches and 6 and one half inches across. The pestle measures 11 inches long. They both were turned from a single piece of Lignum Vitae. Pieces made of Lignum Vitae made from single piece this large are rare. Both pieces are original to one another. The large pantry box measures 11 and one half inches across and six inches high. The smaller one measures 9 and one half inches across and 5 and three quarter inches high.
